Dr. Despina Markogiannakis, affectionately called “Dr. Marko” by her many patients, uses her attentive, artistic eye and years of experience to lead Smiles of Chevy Chase and care for patients from all over Washington, D.C. Dr. Markogiannakis is a proud graduate of Georgetown University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in human sciences. Following this, she obtained her doctor of dental surgery from the prestigious School of Dentistry at Howard University. Dr. Markogiannakis specializes in restorative, cosmetic, general, and implant dentistry, and offers many services for patients of all ages with a range of dental needs and concerns.
